Roy has an extensive background as a television producer & director. He was responsible for the memorable Gospel series 'People Get Ready' on Channel 4 and was also a producer on 'The Human Factor Series' and 'Live Morning Worship' programmes for ITV.

Roy was a senior producer on the BBC's 'Songs of Praise' program for many years and during that time, won the Golden Award (CBC) for 'Songs of Praise - Billy Graham'.
